Packers News · Fremont Ties Tri County Shorthanded in Rematch 1-1

The Fremont girls’ soccer team took on Tri County only a week after being destroyed by the Vikings 8-1.  To make things more complicated, the Packers played the entire match down a player with only 10.  The Vikings started the scoring 20 minutes into the match on a goal from Grace Miller.  The scored remained 1-0 at the half.  10 minutes into the second half Paige Kinsey found Elly O’Neill who finished the game-tying goal.  Tri County outshot the Packers 11-4.  Macey Matulis for the Vikings made 3 saves in the net while Audrey Johnson made 10 for the Packers.  The Packers moved to 5-3-4 overal and 2-2-1 in the conference.  Tri Count is now 6-2-1 overall and 5-0 in the conference.
